@ Jay W: DT cards are allowed. As for the prizes, they are set by the organizer, which is my friend. So the prizes will remind as such, unless turnouts is too little on the day itself.

Thats the difference between getting a Top prize and a bottom prize. You go play in cash tournaments, you think top prize and bottom prize difference is $10?

@Jay W: Please compile all your questions into one post next time. Learn to use the edit button and not double post (in your case its quadruple).

Just like to ask those interested in participating in this tournament:

I have gathered feedback from some of you saying that Swiss is favored.

So i would like to ask for those joining: Which do you prefer Swiss or Double Eli?

Swiss = Easier to manage, fairer as all teams don't use "lives", but unfair as may have several pair-downs after a few rounds.

Double Eli = No need to track scores, fairer as no points are involved determining who tops, but unfair as the finals give the full-win team an advantage over the team who lost once.

Just pointing out key areas. But IMO swiss then single eli for finals would be more fair as it'll be treated like a normal tourney. Just my two cents worth.
