No limit to the registration numbers, just ensure you do the registration before the registration closes on 4 April.

The only restriction to participating is you cannot have taken part in the qualifiers from another country. Even if you register online successfully, the list will be checked against the registration lists from the other countries' participants list and you will be rejected entry.

Yes. I am trying to prevent this. I mean sometimes stupid mistake like "same accidently shuffle in the next game" is really heart pain.

To regards about questions being asked here in this section. I would sincerely appreciate all players that are interested in this upcoming tournament to carefully look at the details being given at the respective threads for the tournament to AVOID asking repetitive questions.

As such, if the answer is already present there, please do not ask us again.

Another way would be, please carefully read through this thread again to see whether the questions that you would like to ask have already been ANSWERED or not?

Thank you,

Dogchain

Is it ok if we register with a card from a certain pack but report it as a reprint from another?
Eg. I use Call of the Haunted from Gold Series but i registered it as from SD22

No issues. Main point is the card itself must be correct. If you registered using cards from 1 set, but you end up using the same card which is reprinted in another set you will not be penalized.

Maybe you want to take a photo and show me, also stating the origin of the deck pro (Which event was it given out in)? There are so many protectors that I am not sure which one you are talking about.

Last 2 days for registration people, do remember to get it done, there will be no extension of deadlines for any reason whatsoever.

Last important point to make, if you have trouble registering because you have not received your duelist ID card / lost the card, give me your full name by tonight. I will send an email in to Konami tonight with the consolidated names and hopefully we will have a reply in time for you to register.

Also as a warning to all participants, it would be safest for you to print / save a digital copy of your registration (The PDF link you get after you submit your registration), just in case we somehow are unable to locate your registration on the actual day. If you did not keep a copy and we cannot find anything to confirm your registration, you will not be able to participate.

Lastly, updated info from Konami is none of the seeded players have registered their decks yet. I understand your feeling of wanting to do deck testing and checking all the way until the very last minute but please remember to do your online registration by tomorrow night. Safest would be by tonight, just in case some issues appear with the system from last minute registrations.

*If you do not register by the deadline, your seeded status will be revoked and you will not be able to join the tournament*

List of seeded players are once again as follows.
333-XXX-963 ANG CALVIN
333-XXX-852 HO SHU MIAO
333-XXX-175 CHEW KAH MENG
333-XXX-502 LEE LIANSENG

Hi guys, I understand some of you are having a problem with trying to register because it shows up as registration ended on your side. (I know, it shows up as that on my screen as well)

If you managed to register still, good for you, make sure you print out the pdf link as proof that your registration has been confirmed in case the system somehow did not register you.

For those people who have not registered yet, I will check with Konami and hopefully get back to you soon.

However, Hong Kong is having a public holiday tomorrow, so I can only hope we will get a reply soon. I will keep you updated so keep a lookout.

Hi guys, I have managed to get in touch with the Hong Kong Konami team, registration will be back up for a limited time period from 5 April 12 noon onwards. Please arrange to have your submissions done latest by 5 April midnight.

Also for any players who wish to register but have issues with their duelist ID (Either lost, or haven't received yet from Konami), post here with the name you used to register for the duelist ID, I will try and check with Konami for your ID number so that you can proceed with registration.

Also, can REDU cards be used in that side event??

Nope, for the entire day itself, no Return of the Duelist cards may be used, especially as rulings will not have been fully released for them yet.

But yes, you may use a different deck from the side deck.

hi, just a question.

i clicked on submit for my decklist, and when i clicked on link to pdf file, i realised my com does not have a compatible pdf software for it, so i tabbed refresh as the download requires me to not open any pdf files while downloading. but the page was not recovered.

so does it mean that my decklist was not properly submitted and needs to be re-submitted or does it just mean that decklist has been submitted but just no printing of decklist?

Appreciate it if someone can assist me on this, thanks in advance.

When I was registering, I was really impressed that Konami has the database built very thoroughly (with the exception that they forgot to add in the booster series, B1, B2, B3, etc.). But overall, it was good, real good.

Then the first problem came. The words were so small. I can hardly see if I had keyed in the right cards. I had to keep adjusting my monitor screen. It was really irritating.

Then after submitting, a screen popped up to re-confirm deck list. This was good I feel. I went to submit and wanted to save the pdf. Then came problem 2. The pdf cannot be opened because it was unsupported by Adobe. All I have now is a blank document with the Konami logo. I cannot even prove that I had registered or whether the system got the right cards.

It is good that Konami has this online registration. But shouldn't they have piloted this before releasing to the mass public? The problems I listed here are rather fundamental and should not be even be allowed to surface.

I am now wondering how the officials that day will handle this issue as I do not think given the 1 day event span, there is even time to deal with all the registration problems. I do hope that there will be a good solution for this.

I thought mine was an isolated incident and just ignored it. If there is really an error and I cannot join, then so be it. No harm done.

But seeing that another player has this issue. Then it should be not be an isolated incident anymore. I am just saying that if anyone wants to use an IT system for something, problems like these should be foreseen and solved before publishing it live.

Doubt it lol. Wasn't there a certain year where they said you couldn't after online registration and then the next thing you know everyone was queueing up even for 1 card last min changes. The POMO one iirc.

If you did it twice, and it's two different mistakes, it just means you made a mistake on both. If doing it for the 2nd time worked, a 3rd time wouldn't matter lol.

The problem might have been that a certain font package available at the Adobe website was needed to open the file. Mine prompted me to download it, and that worked. Probably just keep the file and run it on an updated copy of Adobe and see what works.

Hi to all, thank you for all your registrations. Everyone's comments have been noted, and will be considered for the future. Especially for the comments regarding the system not being able to generate the pdf will be feedbacked to Konami to further improve on the system.

However for the 15 April event, as we will be hosting the regional finals, there will not be any extra time to address any issues with regards to any deck list errors. If you were unable print out the pdf, I recommend that you arrive earlier at the event to check on the deck list on Konami's side. However, once you have the link to the pdf file, your registration would have been submitted pending no other issues.

As for anybody who have submitted a deck list with an error, you will have to proceed with the deck list which was submitted, no deck list changes will be allowed.

For those who did not manage to print out their deck lists are concerned about their deck lists / registration status, email in to support@konami.com.hk with your name and duelist id by Monday 9 April. They should reply you on Tuesday 10 April.

Do note that this is purely for people who want to print their deck lists. For those who intend to ask about changing of deck lists, all I can say is that will be up to Konami to decide if they accept.

Yes, I am totally aware of that incident. That is why the related authorities should have used that as a lesson if they want to ever use an IT-related solution for this kind of events.

Yes, this is a good solution to help those players to confirm their deck lists due to the technical error of he registration system.

This will be kind of unfair to those players who have really put in effort to try to get their deck list entered correctly into the system. These players will have no substantial 'black and white' documents to prove that they have indeed registered their deck correctly and it is the system that was causing the errors (like the case above where a players experienced errors repeatedly TWICE and had to re-do the deck registration process).

Kindly advise what can be done to assist these group of players. This is a good game and in the face of extreme competition from other card games (eg. VG), I do not think it will be advisable to leave this issue hanging and leading to an increase in players quitting.

For situations like the case of Jw2406, I can only say that this is an isolated incident, and we have not had any other players complain about this, so it will be difficult to prove that this is not a player caused issue. Also, it is honestly difficult to prove the problem to Konami when we have nothing to show and prove that the situation actually happened.

To Jw2406, is there any way you can show there is an error anywhere? It would make it easier to show the issue to Konami and try to get them to resolve the issue.
