For mirror i uses tragoedia!!!
haha

brain wash opponent's GB by discarding my GB (4 star usually) after contact fusion or by using his monster to attack, returns to deck and retrieve back my discarded GB. No loss at all!!!

yes btw im also using (copied) the shallow grave technique now too but i NEED prisma!!!
Any kind souls to lend LINGBU?? Sad

Hmm i tink after this post , many players will start to use shallow grave too...

Mirror match, play Mind Controls, Brain Control and Dark Bribe. The ability to shuffle opponent's card into their deck to search for YOUR GB is very imbalance. Especially if Chicken Cutlet is on the field. You can almost got Lion King (Heraklinos) out with just a Mind Control/Brain Control. Kill of opponent's Mind/Brain Control with Dark Bribes. Its even worth Maining it to fight off Oppressions.

Cold Wave helps OTK more than GB, IMO. Of course, if you want to ensure the safety of Chicken Cutlet, then play it. Otherwise, I don't really think its a must to play it. Like Dogchain says, the deck is fully packed anyways.

Tragoeda will not be as effective because you can only steal lv 4 GB. Stealing lv 6 GB is what makes the deck even more ground breaking.

DPDP = different ppl different perspective.

I noe that u cant possibly steal lvl 6 KFC chicken meal
but normaly chicken meal has already transformed back to his chicken wings and pals after attacking(thats wat usually happens from some duels i saw but not my own style).

So Tragoedia for me.
mind contro(s) for others using GB

Yeah yesterday after playing a few matches I realised Equeste doesn't deserve to be at 3 at all. Once Test Tigers come out(HURRY UP, it seems to take forever ._.) I have decided on taking out erm...2 Equestes, 1 Secutor(too situational) for 3 Test Tigers...If I manage to get Prismas then I won't know what to take out. Oh btw, can someone explain to me why prismas are so good? I mean if you have a Test Tiger and a GB you can still fuse them into Big Chicken Momma...o_O

EDIT: Hoplomus is hella useful in a mirror match. Nothing can penetrate it and if your opponent gets any smart ideas of whacking into the rhino to jump, you jump first into a fish and blast him into hell before he can jump. Very Happy

You see ar, when you summon prisma, it can be either of 2 gladial beasts, one is the small bird, and one is the tiger. Thus it is very flexible to contact fusion according to the situation that you wanted it to fuse to. And example this:

You summon prisma, you use its effect to thow the small bird to the graveyard to copy its name. Then you special test tiger to sacrifice itself to send prisma(which has copied the small bird's name). To summon a gladial beast.. Lets say Darius? And then use Darius' effect to special summon the small bird back to the field. And then contact fusion! Ta da! there you have it! The big bird!

P.S : I keep saying small bird or big bird because I am lazy to go check out their names lololololol. Hope this scenario helps!

Yeah I know about that one, but it seems a bit long winded huh? Cause you can just summon one Bestiari, special summon Test Tiger, sac Test Tiger and fuse into big bird. Done. Same thing right? o_O

uh... sac test tiger to fuse into a big bird? U need to return one gladial beast on your field back to the deck first? U mean if you have 1 gladial beast, and one Bestiari. Then summon 1 test tiger right?

Anyway I would prefer the Prisma in the deck. Its really very versatile! =D

Yeah its too expensive. ._. anyway the E-Hero Prisma sleeves are dam sexy! I want Sad

Besides the versatility and the ability to retrieve chicken from grave with Darius there are no other advantages correct?

Not really... Don't forget that Prisma is the "fusion material king"... Don't get blinded that this is the only versatile combo that you can play. Prisma itself can be either Laquar or Bestiari. If you have a Cyber Dragon in deck, he can even be Cyber Dragon and fuse with your opponent's machine for Chimeratech.

Yeap to what I said, it can be either the small bird or the tiger. However, not many GB plays Cyber dragon in their deck right? I used to do that Prisma cyber dragon trick before the last last banlist... =(

IMO, the deck is too packed for 2 or more Cyber Dragons... In fact, I would rather side it than use it as a main. Against machine decks, play one copy of Cyber Dragon should be sufficient.

Prisma is an awesome card. You can even call out Blue Eyes White Dragon and then use Burst Stream of Destruction!!! XD

About the D.D. Crow thing. Maybe I had slow reflexes, or maybe(most likely) my mind drifted off somewhere.

But you still win... This means that playing GB doesn't really require you to have play this game long enough. Honestly, D.D. Crow isn't essential for GB... Just play Prisma and Test Tiger when you get them and you will pwn many games. =)

with the current meta using the graveyard a lot, u cannot afford not to have d.d crows in your deck.

Personally, I haven't seen the crow doing much damage to me... Probably because I was running GB back then and now undead synchro... But I should guess it would have been a lot of problem for undead synchro, but still not many games changed directions due to the crow; at least from the people playing against me.

Besides, I personally think that GB play in what they are supposed to, they can win games easily. The few techs they need are usually against Oppression and Skill Drains using Icarus Attack and some addition of Twister/Dust Tornado... Personal opinion.

Decree will kill off your own traps...
-Bottomless Trap Hole
-Dimension Prison
-Gladial Beast Chariot

Besides, Dark Bribe and Solmen Judgment can kill spells too.

In a tag duel, I am not sure if Gyzarus can blast cards from both players...

i notice nowadays most of the staples that r dangerous to gb r all traps.wonder if there is any surefire way to stop them all other than by coldwave...

In a tag duel both duelists on the same team share fields so yeah, Gyzarus can kill both player's cards...

Cold Wave can kill off your own cards especially those that protect your monsters e.g. E-con, Book of Moon, Shrink, Bottomless(to some extent) and threat stoppers like War Chariot.

Playing GB for so long... I have never added D Prison in my deck. One reason is because I never had one... LOL. Still, I never bothered proxying even a copy. But now that Tele Dark Armed is getting up, perhaps its time to remove that pesky Stardust Dragon. =)

Sangan/DDVD combo is too difficult to do unless you play D.D. Crow to increase your DDVD chances. Still, I wont count on this combo. Solemn Judgment is around for a reason. Some even played Dark Bribe. There are reasons for people playing both Solemn and Bribe and this is one of the scenario. Another would be Dark Armed Synchro back when Premature was not banned.

Of the times I tweak, I never left out 3x Shrink, 3x Test Tiger, 3x Prisma, 3x Bestiari, 3x Solemn Judgment, 2x Book of Moon. Shrink is the key card to defeat an early Stardust Dragon and Stardust comes out early in Tele Dark Armed games. Book of Moon can save your butt one turn and one turn is a very big deal to GB. BTW Test Tiger/Prisma is NOT the only combo Test Tiger is able to do. Even if there is a card that should not be at 3x between them, it has to be Prisma.

Dimacari is an amazing card. I know it doesn't appear to be one of the main cards in GB but I cannot tell you how much I love summoning him on a clear field to do 2x attack. But my 40 cards set is really packed, I cannot really find space for him. Still, if you can find space for him, give him a try.

BTW Brionac's effect is an ignition effect, the player can declare priority and send cards back to your hand before being removed by Bottomless Trap Hole. And if he summons 2 more Goyou or whatever big attack monsters, you are in trouble (in the case of an undead synchro).

Dimacari is useful. Awesome finisher coming from experience. Dimensional Prison is too easily destroyed. Stardust a problem? Chariot/crow it.

Yeah well I'm not really a good player...Yet. Just need more practice, never got time to play much with strong decks. =/

2 Equeste to be on the safe side.

Side-deck your shrink and enemy controller since they only work well against synchro and mirror match.

- 1 Dimacari( I really find it pointless)
+1 Book of Moon

You probably would want to put in RotA, Cold Wave and Shallow Grave.

You probably would want to put in RotA, Cold Wave and Shallow Grave.

Most of these has been discussed in the previous few pages. Cold Wave kills off my own s/t. This isn't an OTK deck so I don't really see the point. Shallow Grave is...Kinda random, I would say. No space for RotA. I do not find Dimacari pointless, along with Shrink/E-Con. The point of Shrink is to allow GBs to survive attacks and swap out, whereas Book of Moon doesn't allow that. It can only combo with Darius which is hardly a plus point since you'd most likely fuse the thing you pulled back with Darius.

Side-deck your shrink and enemy controller since they only work well against synchro and mirror match.

- 1 Dimacari( I really find it pointless)
+1 Book of Moon

You probably would want to put in RotA, Cold Wave and Shallow Grave.

Shallow Grave isn't random and it can be used with Prisma for mass destruction since you can contact fusion face down Beastari. (Correct me if I am wrong)

You could always remove enemy controller for a RotA since I think it is kind of important to get your Prisma out asap.

Aiya... its really different playstyle. Nowadays I dont even play Bottomless Trap Hole. So, are you going to broadcast that I am a noob?

I don't play Cold Wave because I am not good at using it. Simple as that. Those who play Cold Wave knows when is the best time to use it and they use it to best utilize their deck. Kudos to these people. They probably run a better GB than I do then.

Shallow Grave is a good card to add if you can find the space. Seriously. Get the Bird and you can kill off that face-down or use the Big Chicken to kill it off.
