Well, I feel that in this format, 3 x-sabres are simply an overkill. How about toying around with an ancient forest build?? In that case, remove 3 airbellums and cat, along with 2 samnites. This frees up space for 3 ancient forest, 3 dark bribes and 1 solemn. 3 chariots are also overkill. I suggest that u drop one....

haha amos b4 sept 09 list came out my 1st choice deck was gb synchro. so. here're my fixes:

-1 airbellum (really this isn't synchro cat and airbellums clog ur hand and its not nice =/)
+1 slave tiger/ape (depends on whether u want more gb or more synchro, cos ape isn't dead in hand, and can get u a very nice natural beast play, better than koalakko imo)
-1 hoplomus (with ehren coming to ocg, its gna drop in favor. never ran the card myself personally, cos with kalut and honest around in the last format it never made it past damage step anyway without defensive s/t)
-1 something else of ur choice. maybe gorz, cos with so many defensive s/t's, otk isn't high especially with DDB banned
+2 book of moons!!! how can u forget that lol... if u can find a 3rd spot put a 3rd one in as well

uhh don't run bribes, please. with breaker out at 3 u need as many chainables as u can get ur hands on... shrink, BOM, waboku, mst, and curse of anubis (very good tech especially if u play secutor)

imo without DDB rescue gb has suffered a bit... i myself admit to using that play alot in gb synchro that made synchro cat so broken (the priest -> priest -> cat otk). but it depends on ur play style. gb synchro is really more of using gb as a toolbox to control levels and bring out wat u need when u need it (literally 1 of each gb except for samnite) and then relying on natural beast, palkion, and brionac lockdowns to go for game, usually by sacking everything for DDB.

imo if gb make a comeback in the meta after this banlist it will be in the old school prisma gb form.

btw i can pm a list of the deck i used to run, and u can mod from there if u want. just let me know

Lol, cookie cutter decks not much to rate and fix.

People at most can only offer deck ideas or inspire new card choices.

But when it comes down to it, individual card choices come down to individual preference and playstyle, not to mention matchup. Whether it's running bottomless or compulsory, shrink or enemy controller, whether non-Gb monsters should fit in, it's all up to yourself.
