i look forward to playing with that deck next week =x.

i think 2 barbaros is ideal since u are playing trade in. 3 is abit too much. and did u forget lord poison? i do think maybe raious will fit in here,no?

oh btw i will reach khatib at 3+ to pass u the stuff xD

1) summon limit (lol my fave, can stop ur lonefire for awhile only, quite lame i know)

2)mirror of cursed words ( i think this card will deter your plants quite abit)

trade in. then out of play a plant to spec summon it. my guess that its primary use is a target for trade in.

sure gabriel see ya(: zzz the mirror. raging battle is the most anti-gb pack!): summon limit still okay, this deck can handle it. just that i can't really otk you that much.

phoenixian cluster is actually the main reason why i built this deck actually haha. had no interest in plants before it came out. using the seed to bring it out is a waste of time. yup alot of ways to get it into grave, trade - in, raigeki break. then with card of safe return its a consisitent way of drawing.

trying to fit in foolish burial too, what do you all think?

will will win ya dis deck or Black Feather since there are cards called delta crow now and skill drain doesn't negate card effect from hand so they can still keep special summoning.

yea i was thinking of foolish burial too. maybe run 1, or 2. hmm. skill drain prevents amaryllis from being destroyed by its own effect, neat. but still, if i run this deck, i would add 2 symbol of heritage just for kicks.

mirror of curse words would really bedevil your gameplay, have to waste ur solemns or pollis for that lol. just a slight suggestion, i think ur right in saying previously that this deck is weak against honest. i was thinking maybe add in 2 divine wrath for safety, or at least side it. skill drain encompasses field monsters, but as for effects that activate in hand or grave, think u might want to watch out for those. other than that, quite an interesting deck plan. i might run one of my own =x but i would certainly add in raious if i have space

huh loki i don't understand what you are talking about can you please rephrase that properly? if you're talking abt their special summoning yes i know it doesn't stop but by just stopping one the whole thing stops even if they get all out i will have thorn wall or mirror force. as for delta crow i can pollinosis or solemn.

yeah foolish burial can ensure that amaryllis will be in the grave at all times. yes mirror of cursed words would screw up my play but i don't think people would main deck it >.< time for the strategy "side deck against your opponent's side deck" Razz

yup i'll definiely side divine wrath against deck with honests:D

Pheonixican Cluster ability is base on getting destroy and re-summon so Skill Drain does not helps but more of negating that effect. If so, you should get any other Plant-type monsters in the place of it because they can be Special Summoned by Lonefire Blossom, no?

in this deck, the primary use of amaryllis in this deck is not to be used as a burner, but more so of a beatstick, though i guess camellias can do a better job, but using itself as a tribute for its own negating effect would be more of the case. my guess is that, the user is trying to use it as beatstick, and has the mentality that, 'oh ok,here i have skill drain, so my amaryllis wont die, now take this beat down, wazah!' then when amaryllis dies, he goes like 'aha u killed my poor plant, now take 800 dmg QQ' and he can just revive it again and again and again as long as he has plants in his grave as tribute fodders.

something like that. correct me samuel.

hmm but the amount of times u can revive amaryllis is rather limited imo. must side 3 ddcrow against u lol. look at his traps though, 2 thorn wall and 1 mirror force, not forgetting 2 raigeki break, a rather tough field maintenance back there. should side xing zhen hu against that deck, see how that feels lol.

I have to say this deck is pretty control-oriented. And its also quite good. So I would rate it 9/10.

yeah gabriel you are quite correct, but not only is amaryllis the beatstick, its like a continuous draw engine with card of safe return, and free bait for pollinosis. its also like almost impossible not to have fodder in grave because of evil thorn and lonefire blossom. if not i'll just use it to whack people till they die. they kill it they take damage and its also quite a constant way of defending. but i just love the ability of it being a draw engine! trade - in, card of safe return, WTF!

yeah tramplers might be a problem, but its okay, there's always the camellia to get rid of them Very Happy

yes cold wave kills this deck alot. trap stun still okay since only for a turn haha.

thanks fireowners, your gbeast got pwned XD who call you don't play my cold wave prisma build. cos that build confirm can beat de haha

Doesnt matter, all u need is to sit there as a 2800 beatstick.

And if you target camellia you can actually release itself even if skill drain is on the field.

yeah if camellia is targeted can tribute itself to negate even though skill drain is on the field.

good thing about plants is that most of them are tributed to activate effect/graveyard effect, so skill drain doesn't affect much of the deck.

Actually, why would you need thorn wall. most of your monsters have turned into really huge ever since u add Barbaros.

Only reason is to protect amarylis? But i say let it die!

thorn wall against the current meta decks - black feather.

and i need thorn wall since i can't spawn all of them out at a turn, sometimes i only have evil thorns on the field so thorn wall would help alot.

updated decklist with the banlist too! realised that barbaros isn't really necessary main decked, since it wastes a normal summon, so took it out and side decked it:D

It does when it's a difference of 1 card or 2 cards you need to turn the tables around when in a "pinch".

COSR kinda depends on your luck. If you are blessed, you will always draw that card with at least 1 revival. If then, COSR in your deck is good.

If you are cursed like I am, where you only draw revivals, or COSR without revivals, then... You know what to do....

thanks loki:D the difference of 1x card of safe return does affect alot actually, like what asakura_y said. when there were 2x card of safe return i would draw out all my solemns/pollinosis really fast then control the rest of the game.

yup ds no black garden, i think not really necessary here since i don't run wanghu since there's skill drain then the tokens would fill up my field then no space for evil thorn/amaryllis. haha luckily i am not cursed as you, if you ask gabriel (sinstudent) how the cards come always at the right time for me.

just like da dan says eh, gabriel XD

The black garden does not always need wanghu. You can just first turn lone fire blossom max a camelia appear on field, then play black garden. So whatever the opponent can summon camelia is big enough against it, while whenever opponent summons something, plant tokens appear to let you pollionis or use for camelia's negate effect, etc.

So yes, plant decks with camelia and does more on control, i recommend playing black garden....

lol samuel, from my experience playing with u, i dunno why u always draw the right cards. must help u shuffle more thoroughly lol. hmm but yea i have the same thoughts as ds, especially the point of not enough plant tributes for pollinosis. but other than that, i wouldnt put black garden also. u might not always draw pollinosis anyway.

Well, the consideration is with black garden, you dont need to put cards like bottomless pitfall, saving up space. Then besides pollinosis you have camelia as well. But yeah, its kinda up to your playing style in the end

but in the end if someone just raigeki breaks ur camellias, and u have no counters to make it on time, then black garden might put u in a disadvantaged position. i agree that if u put black garden, u wont really have to put bottomless traphole, but u have to consider that bottomless helps to counter annoying mobs as well, but in this instance, the atk would just be too low to bottomless. but it all goes down to your favorable play-style.

It works both ways, even if someone raigeki breaks your camelia, their monster that appear are small as well. Then yes, the attack is too low to bottomless, but simply because they are so small that not much point to bottomless too? LOL

true. but if it so happens that he used up his counters and didnt manage to draw skill drain in time (which happens a shit load of times to me in the past) and someone summons brionac, and activates priority and bounces almost everything on the field, argh. then u would wish u had bottomless to stop his rampage. but its very subjective and situational.

IMO you can still use Skill Drain and Black Garden.

Camellia would run solely as a beatstick. The black garden tokens can also help you generate tribute fodder if you get stuck hands.

PS: Run Crush Card, you have Sangan and Evil Thorn.
